Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's individual biographies have been removed from the royal family's website

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The biographies of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle on the royal family’s official website have been updated. The couple’s bios have been removed and merged into a single shared profile, according to a report in People magazine.

Previously, both had individual biographies on the royal family’s website, which acts as a digital hub for news and updates about the monarchy. Their statement on the page reads: “As announced in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped down as working members of the Royal Family. The couple married on May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor and have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.

Under the headings “About the Duke of Sussex” and “About the Duchess of Sussex,” the page breaks down Harry and Meghan’s biographies, bringing together notable moments such as Prince Harry’s ten years in the British Army and the founding of the Invictus Games with those of Meghan Markle summarized seven seasons on “Suits” and the lifestyle blog The Tig. Previously, both had lengthy biographies, including Prince Harry’s page, which mentioned his role in “supporting the monarch.”

The royal family’s website also mentions a link to their new website, which the couple launched in February. As part of a new rebrand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s website features the latest news about the couple, as well as links to their Archewell Foundation organization and the Archewell Productions hub.

Their website, previously called Archwell, is now sussex.com. On the homepage you can see a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Germany at the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games 2023 in September. According to statements from the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the couple wants to showcase their passions and efforts and assert their identity beyond traditional royal duties.

“The reality behind the new website is simple: it is a hub for the work of the Sussexes and reflects the fact that the family shares the same surname for the first time since the King’s coronation. This is a big deal for every family. “It represents their union and is a proud moment,” said an insider.

However, the couple faced criticism for using their royal titles and royal coat of arms on their new website, Sussex.com. “Prince Harry and Meghan’s biographies are flawless! Come on” . said one reader. “This shows that they have failed in Hollywood and are unable to succeed in their many business ventures. So they resort to the only thing they can do and make money from, which is to give up their royal titles. “This is pathetic and yet proves once again why the titles need to be removed,” wrote one X user.
